Drooping cherryThe "EDO HIGAN-cherry tree" on the top of a small hill which is surrounded by tee fields is 400 years old. This is designated as a natural monument of the city of Shigaraki.
The beauty always attracts many people.

huge black pine treeA Kohyamaki - tree blooms impressively in front of Gyokenji-temple. Two roots were originally planted from which the rest grew. These trees were designated as a national monument of Shiga-prefecture.

The Misuji Water Fall & Keimei Water FallThe sound of stream from the Misuji water fall has pleasant ring to Tashiro-river. Also there are three rest area of Tokai Nature Trail.
Keimei water fall has its name after the tradition of the "Golden Bird". It is full of people seeking the cool air in the summer.
